Teachers Beware of MySpace

Students are creating fake MySpace profiles on employees.  If this happens to you, immediately notify:

  1. MySpace website and report abuse
  2. Contact Local Law Enforcement and/or Miami Dade School Police
  3. Call your UTD Organizer

Depending on State Law, the student may have committed a crime such as identity theft, fraud, or criminal libel.  Also, MySpace will not help identify the culprit without a subpoena, which may require the involvement of the local prosecutor or police.
