Secondary School Reform - Vote on Waivers only available to Cohort 1 and 2 Schools

UTD and the district have agreed to move forward with allowing high schools to vote on whether or not they wish to participate in the initiative to teach 6 of 8 classes offered over 2 days. Due to financial difficulties, we have agreed to limit the number of schools that can vote to continue as SSRI schools to those that have participated in this initiative during Year 1 (2006-2007) and Year 2 (2007-2008). The links provide the school with all of the information they need to vote, including the requirement for a secret ballot vote during a faculty meeting.
