Credential Payment - Courses in Administration and Supervision

ARTICLE XXIV, Section 3, of the MDCPS/UTD Contract stipulates that “courses in administration and supervision shall not be applicable” for Credential Payment.  The following qualifies for Credential Payment:

• Employees who hold or obtain an advanced degree in the subject matter field/position to which they are assigned/certified.
  
  
• Employees who hold an advanced degree which is considered out of field/not applicable but obtain 15 graduate credits in the subject field in which they are assigned/certified.

• Graduate course work and/or degrees in the areas of reading, mathematics, computer education, exceptional student education, and/or ESOL/bilingual education.
