UTD-NAACP together,
fighting for education

UTD and community leaders, and lawmakers joined NAACP at a town hall meeting to discuss drastic cuts facing education.

UTD Secretary-Treasurer Fedrick Ingram and Executive Board member Paul Moore joined a panel of District representatives and lawmakers to propose changes needed in Florida's policies on education.

The panelists included:  State Senator Fredericka Wilson, School Board member Wilbert "Tee" Holloway, MDCPS' Associate Superintendent for School Operations Freddie Woodson and Deputy Superintendent for Business Operations Ofelia San Pedro.
