Governor Crist awards UTD member
Hispanic Excellence in Education Award
Executive Board member Ingrid Robledo was the winner of the Governor
Charlie Crist’s Inaugural Hispanic Heritage Month Excellence in
Education Award.
Governor Crist presented Robledo with the award during the Hispanic
Heritage Celebrations at the Governor’s Mansion this month. She
teaches AP Spanish at George Washington
Carver Middle in Coconut Grove.
The award was presented to one elementary, one middle
and one high school Hispanic teacher in the State of Florida. Each
teacher received a $1500 check and a $500 gift certificate for classroom
supplies.
